Seruds India Ngo Empowering Hapless

“This is the hardest of all.To close the open hand out of love, keep modest as a giver.”

SERUDS NGO India is a non-governmental, non-profit, social-voluntary association working for an integrated expansion of women and children belonging to weaker section of the society. Based at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh NGO involved in Charity work for Scheduled castes, listed tribes, other backwards classes and Dalits. A group of youth, who have passion in social service and understanding towards the sufferings of the present sections of the society, came together collectively and formed SERUDS.

SERUDS have clear approaching in the socio-economic and health issues faced by the below privileged and marginalized segments of the communities. Parents have a lot of questions about child care and we thought it would be helpful to identify some common assumptions regarding the effects of child care and report on what the research in fact shows. The first few assumptions narrate to typically-developing children, and the final assumptions relate to children with special needs.

Soft Skills Training for Students:

The key problem faced by students is pronunciation, followed by fluency skills, grammar and sentence construction. Students show a larger gap in elements of spoken English, pronunciation and fluency, followed through grammar, though they perform moderately better in vocabulary and accepting English.

As per the report, only 6.8 per cent students show the capability to speak or respond spontaneously. SERUDS have been conducting soft skills training course for poor students who study in Government High Schools.

SERUDS has been reclaiming the Save Girl Child campaign which she lost childhood and preparing them for responsible adulthood through this program. The issue is that she is not considered at equivalence with boy child. Not only in early ages but even as a teenager, she is not provided with good clothes, nutritious food items and required to eat left over crumbs. She does not enjoy social or economic independence.SERUDS is working on this campaign for better lives of girl child.
